Overnight Care or Sleepovers

This service involves a carer assisting with a few hours of care before bed and after a good night’s rest. If you are assisting a loved one, you know that your health can be affected without a good nights rest. Carers usually prefer that they receive at least 8 hours of sleep, but they are there to assist you during the night if your loved one is unable to sleep or needs to use the restroom. Having a caregiver in the home as your loved one sleeps gives peace of mind and security while you rest, enabling you to wake up fresh to go about your day.

With our sleep over option, we aim to send you a carer to meet your overnight needs, in return our carer would simply require a bed to sleep in, and is typically available from 10pm until 8am, with an average timespan of 2 hours support throughout the night.

We can also provide walking night care where care assistant is required to wake up more than 3 times a night.

If you feel you may need more continued support throughout the night, then our live-in care plan may be better suited for you. As it’s important to us to make sure you or your loved ones received the right care for them, at the times they need it the most!

Some of the benefits received with our sleepovers include:

  • Ensuring you have some water, or a warm drink on hand if needed
  • Support with any medication that may be required throughout the night and at specific times
  • Aid in helping you get to and from the restroom as and when needed
  • Making sure your room is kept at the right temperature required, to help you get a peaceful nights sleep
